Amany Sholkamy had completed her PhD in 1997 from Cairo University, Egypt. She is professor (full) of medicine and hepatology in Faculty of Medicine Cairo university since 2008.
Amany is a member of the scientific committee of the Supreme Council of Egyptian
Universities since 2013.
Amany was the founder and clinical supervisor of the liver ICU in the French Kasr AlAiny H
Cairo university in 2005 till now. She is working also as senior liver transplant consultant in
Manial specialized H Cairo university since 2004, and senior sonologist in Internal Medicine H
Cairo university. Amany had supervised many master and MD researches through her work in
the faculty. She has many national and international publications in the field of hepatology,
hepatic emergencies, and liver transplantation. Amany had finished a Master degree of organ
procurement and transplantation management from DTI/Barcelona university Spain 2018.
